WPForms is a contact form plugin from WordPress. Anyone can create these contact forms on your WordPress sites and place it on any page as per your requirements. The process of creating and customizing the contact form is really really simple using drag and drop form builder.
WPForms + ActiveCampaign Integration
ActiveCampaign when integrated with WPForms, it becomes powerful enough to take your business to the next level. WPForms collects necessary details form the website visitors and saves it in the ActiveCampiagn database which will create a follow-up strategy for the visitor based on the details provided.
As simple as that.
Let us see how to integrate WPFroms and ActiveCampaign through simple steps.
1. Install and Activate WPForms Plugin
Install and activate WPForms plugin on your WordPress website.
Once this is done, It’s time to activate ActiveCampaign addon.
Open WPForms and then go to the Addons.
Locate ActiveCampaign Addon and click install Addon.
Once the installation is complete, the status of the Addon changes to Active.
2. Create Your Form
Once the activation is complete, it’s time to create a new form.
Go to WPForms and click on Add New.
Name your form and choose the Newsletter Signup Form template.
The default Newsletter Signup template appears.
You can add, remove, or change positions of the fields in the form.
You can also add the GDPR Agreement Field to your form.
3. Connect Your Form to ActiveCampaign
Click on the Marketing tab on the left and click on ActiveCampain.
Click on Add New Account.
Fill in the information asked in the next window.
To fetch the ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key, login to your ActiveCampaign account.
Nw, go to the settings.
From the menu coming up, click on Developer.
From there, you can copy the API URL and API key.
Once you fill in the fields, click on Add.
Your WPForm is now connected to the ACtiveCampaign.
4. ActiveCampain Form Set Up
A popup will appear asking you to enter the name for your form.
A window will appear with more settings.
Fill in all the details and click Save.
5. Add ActiveCampaign Form to Your WordPress Site
Open the page in which you are going to add the form.
Click on the first block and type in WPForms search bar.
Click on the Add WPForms icon.
Choose the Newsletter Subscription Form.
After this, publish or update the page.
You have successfully integrated your WPForm with Active Campaign.
