You can stop spam bots from making fake submissions in your WPForms now.
The new feature has made it simpler than ever.
WordPress now has a simple and hassle-free method to create forms that are free of spambots.
By adding an invisible CAPTCHA which identifies and rejects spambots, WPForms have declared itself free from spam.
Let’s see how the feature is being activated and made use.
Step 1: Contact Form Creation
Create a WordPress contact form once you have installed and activated the WPForms plugin.
The size of the form can be determined by the data you need from the customer.
Step 2: reCAPTCHA Settings Configuration
Go to WPForms> settings and then select the reCAPTCHA tab.
Below you can find two options, from which you have to choose invisible reCAPTCHA.
Now you need to create a reCAPTCHA for your website.
Google provides free CAPTCHA generation services.
Visit Google’s reCAPTCHA setup page.
Once you are on the page you can see the admin console button on the top right.
Login to the admin console using your Google account and you will be redirected to a different page.
To add your account click on the plus sign.
If you have already registered some other sites before, you can see that also here.
Enter your website in the provided space to register your new site.
Now choose the reCAPTCHA you wish to form the options. In this example, we’ve chosen the invisible reCAPTCHA badge
After entering your website domain, valid email id and agreeing to the terms and conditions, click submit.
Now you can see your website’s secret key and site key.
After copying both the keys, reopen the WordPress form settings.
Enter the site key and the secret key in the space allotted.
Click on save settings.
Step 3: Enabling invisible reCAPTCHA
Open settings and then the editor in your form editor.
Tick mark ‘enable Google reCAPTCHA’ after scrolling down.
Now Google will detect any spambots trying to fill the forms and reject them right away.
